The KEY-MO requires a Dead Air Key Mount muzzle brake or flash hider in addition to this adapter. The SiCo Omega to YHM mount offers the choice of YHM flash hiders or brakes, and the YHM QD mounting system is the best available, bar none, but you won't save weight. If you have the ASR adapter in your Silencerco suppressor, you can choose the Key-Mo adapter for the ASR locking device, which is found on the Saker, Chrimera and other ASR equipped Silencerco models. KeyMo also doesn't have the reputation for getting stuck, or rapidly evacuating the front of the gun if put on wrong. It's certainly better if you have both DA & SiCO tho. The Diversified Machine titanium Omega to Griffon Minimalist brake or flash hider mount reduces weight and does not add length. True one-hand on and off, so if you want to put an extended hand guard on an SBR to shroud the SiCo-Can you can. Got the ASR based KeyMo in last month, and we are hoping for the universal KeyMo (aka Omega) to be here before Thanksgiving. We got a bunch or breaks and caps and direct thread adapters in over the last month. But, if you want to switch do not go KeyMo, which adds weight and length, and the Q option isn't much lighter and looks even longer. I think the new manufacturer for DA is coming along. Use a brake on the 11.5" 5.56 since once you shoot it suppressed you will never again shoot it unsuppressed and the brake will act as a sacrificial blast baffle to extend the life of the Omega's blast baffle.ĮTA: The ARS system works great so long as you don't do anything stupid, like hot swap the can or forget to turn the locking latch. ago Understand the rules Check the sidebar. Not for any other reason than the mount will never come loose when removing the silencer. If I was in your shoes, I would use a flash hider on the 18" and 16" barrels since these will be tolerable to shoot unsuppressed. Xeno is a nice QD system, I like the use of the left hand threads.
